856Love Inc. Announces Inaugural ‘Boys to Men Suit Up’ Initiative

BRIDGETON — The nonprofit 856Love Inc. announced its inaugural “Boys to Men Suit Up” Initiative youth ages 7-16 who live in the community.
Melvin Williams, executive director of 856Love Inc., said the first program will benefit 10-15 local school-aged boys, there they will be dressing them in their first suits and accessories.
“In doing so, we will be teaching our boys the importance of image, being properly dressed and being prepared for opportunities in their future,” Williams told Front Runner New Jersey. “In addition, we will be teaching our boys how to tie a tie. We believe that the young men we serve are tied to greatness.”
Williams said teaching these educational life skills are imperative to the success of not only our boys but the community they reside in. The event will include a brunch for the participants and mentors. The youths will listen to several speakers/mentors.
The time and location are still being determined, Williams said.
“As a nonprofit organization, we completely rely on the support of individuals and businesses in
the community for donations,” Williams said. “We are still looking for donations of in-kind goods/services and monetary donations for this event. None of our efforts would be possible without the help of donors, volunteers, and supportive community members like you.”
He said no donation is too big or too small to help make our dream come a reality. Each and every donation helps to support our efforts within the community 100%.
