Fellowship of Churches of Atlantic City & Vicinity Endorses Mayor Marty Small for Re-Election
ATLANTIC CITY — The Fellowship of Churches of Atlantic City & Vicinity announced Friday its endorsement of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. for re-election in next week’s Democratic Primary.
The announcement was made at Atlantic City’s Second Baptist Church. The Fellowship of Churches is an organization of churches and ministries in the Atlantic City area with more than 11,000 members, led by Bishop R. Fulton Hargrove.
“Our local clergy is an extremely important and vital part of the Atlantic City community and is a partner to local government in caring for and lifting up the people of this community,” Mayor Small said.
“I am extremely honored and grateful to have their support for me, my family, and my campaign and I look forward to continuing our work together to keep making progress for the future of our people and our city,” Small added.
New Jersey’s Democratic primary is Tuesday.
