CHERRY HILL – Jorge Restrepo, the owner of Atlantic City’s The Society Page, will be recognized with others at the 13th Annual Leadership Achievement Awards & Scholarships Presentation Gala at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Cherry Hill on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The annual event sponsored by the New Jersey Hispanic Leadership Association, Inc. (NJHLA) annually honors outstanding leaders, scholars, and community advocates for Latinos around the state.
The association said that Restrepo is being recognized for his commitment to business development and community support, uplifting Hispanic entrepreneurs and contributing to economic growth across New Jersey.
The gala, held in the Riverside Ballroom, blended elegance with purpose, featuring a star?lit theme and bilingual messaging that underscored the organization’s commitment to cultural unity, according to organizers. Guests are invited to “connect, achieve, motivate, and have fun” as NJHLA recognizes individuals whose work strengthens and uplifts Hispanic communities statewide.
Roberto Clemente Jr. will be the keynote speaker and be given the Founders Award by the organization. Clemente Jr., the son of legendary Hall of Fame baseball icon Roberto Clemente, has built a distinguished career as a humanitarian, global impact leader, and cultural bridge builder. He is known for advancing health equity, youth development, and international goodwill through initiatives such as the Roberto Clemente Foundation and his advocacy for organ donation awareness. His work continues the legacy of his father’s commitment to service, compassion, and justice.
