MILLVILLEFourth Fridays Family Party in the Park is returns to Millville in May after a one-year hiatus, said event organizer Wade Loatman.

Loatman, the owner of Bully Pest Management, led the effort to create the community event in 2021 as people started to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns. The first Fourth Friday event of 2023 will be held at Captain Joseph Buck Waterfront Park on May 26.

“The community made this event what it was in 2021 and this is for all the families in Millville to enjoy one of the city’s gems in Buck Park, have fun with their family and listen to music in a relaxing atmosphere,” Loatman said.

Loatman said the event got a big boost with the approval of Millville Mayor Lisa Orndorf and Samantha Cruz, manager of parks and public property. The event is being sponsored by Bully Pest Management and BC Productions.

Loatman said space is still available for the first Fourth Friday. Those interested in doing a vendor’s table can contact Cruz at 856-825-7000, ext. 7394 or Loatman at 856-507-3022.
