VINELAND — Rowan College of South Jersey will host its second Adelante Juntos Communiversity Event and Job Fair on Wednesday, April 17, at 11 a.m., in the Guaracini Center. Registration is required.
The event and job fair were organized by RCSJ’s Adelante Juntos cohort in partnership with the College’s Internship & Career Services to give community members an opportunity to enhance their educational prospects and/or their career goals.
“This event will feature employers ready to accept applications, possibly conduct on-the-spot interviews, and share valuable insights about their companies,” said Esther Rodriguez, program director of the Hispanic Services Institute, National Science Foundation (NSF), and Science Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), at RCSJ.
“Attendees can expect a dynamic platform where they can engage with potential employers, explore job opportunities, meet with RCSJ personnel, possibly register for courses, and gain firsthand knowledge about the diverse range of services offered within our county.”
Inspira Health Network, DWK Life Sciences, and the New Jersey State Police are just three of the employers who will be present at this event, amongst a host of others.
Adelante Juntos is a program funded by the NSF to support students interested in STEM careers, from high school to RCSJ to University and Career Entry.
“Adelante Juntos is always ready to provide as much information and support as possible to prepare students entering their first collegiate journey at RCSJ,” Rodriguez said. “We provide an array of services from book loans to lab kits, and more. It is always our pleasure to help our students succeed and prepare them for their future endeavors.”
