4th Annual Colombian Festival Promises To Be Best Yet

PLEASANTVILLE — The fourth annual Colombian Festival, one of the state’s largest celebrations recognizing South America’s music and culture, will take place at 110 Tilton Road from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 21.
More than 2,000 people have appeared at past festivals to enjoy Colombia’s music and culture, which is free and open to the public. Organizers promise an unforgettable experience during the day-long festival, filled with music, food, vendors, and entertainment.
“Talented artist Wilmer Manga will be present at the Colombian Festival performing all of Los Diablitos del Vallenato’s hits,” festival organizers said. “You cannot miss this incredible presentation where Wilmer Manga will make us vibrate with the music and the characteristic feeling of one of the most emblematic groups of Vallenato music.”

Organizers said they are currently looking for sponsors to fray the cost of putting on the event.
“We are reaching out to invite you to be a sponsor of our festival and help us showcase the vibrant traditions, music, and food of Colombia to the local community,” organizers said. “By supporting the Colombian Festival, you will have the opportunity to engage with leaders from the Colombian community, as well as other attendees from diverse backgrounds.”
