Dennis Pullin, Others to be Honored at ATAP Awards Dinner

WILLINGBORO — Nine community leaders, including Virtua Health CEO Dennis Pullin, will be honored at the upcoming ATAP (All Things Are Possible) Kwanzaa Community Awards Dinner at the JFK Banquet Facility on Thursday, Dec. 2.

Recently re-elected State Sen. Troy Singleton will be the keynote speaker with 1996 Olympic gold medalist and Willingboro native LaMont Smith as a special guest, organizers said. ATAP is founded and led by Willlingboro Mayor Tiffani Worthy.

Pullin, who leads one of the largest healthcare providers in the region, will receive the Courageous Leadership Award from ATAP.

“I am humbled and honored to be recognized, particularly knowing that nominations came from people within the community,” Pullin said in a statement. “Building trust in health care among people of color is important to me both professionally and personally, so, again, I thank you for the recognition.”

He will be honored along with:

“This award means a lot,” Vaughan said. “It lets me know that my work is not going unnoticed and the fact that I will receive an award from a community I love and respect is great in itself. I am here for change and unity in my community.”

Carr added: “To know that I have been a source of inspiration for even one person is an unbelievable and indescribable achievement.”
