VINELAND — When you walk through the doors of Cornerstone Community Church you will feel welcomed.

That welcoming feeling, that has been part of Cornerstone Community since its beginning 17 years ago, has now spread to his new home in Vineland. On Friday (Sept. 30), the church will be formally celebrating its move to the new space that will allow its continued growth and sharing their faith to new and old followers alike.

The members are warm, and the atmosphere is set for worship. It is a place where the Holy Spirit is invited to move freely through the rows and among the people. While there visitors are encouraged to offer praise and worship in whatever fashion suits them.

There is no wrong way to give glory to God, according to the church. Cornerstone is a place for gathering people in the process. It is where the curious, unconvinced, skeptical, used-to-believe, and the broken can come together.

Formerly in Millville, Cornerstone is now serving in Vineland under the pastoral leadership of Ralph and Tina Graves. They are influential leaders who have been called to serve with excellence and integrity.

Throughout their 31 years of marriage, and 16 years of pastoring, they have diligently worked alongside each other with the deepest love and respect for one another. Together, their passion and desire are to continue the impactful work started long ago by a man known as Jesus of Nazareth.

Tina Graves is an enthusiastic licensed nurse practitioner with a heart for people and it shows in her service to the community.

They are co-founders of City’s Hope Community Development Corp. City’s Hope CDC is a nonprofit organization centered around getting community families the support they need to live healthy lives.

Cornerstone has been a growing body of believers for almost 17 years and this October marks one year that they have been based in Vineland.

“Anything you believe God has given you, it should be set apart for His use,” Pastor Graves told Front Runner New Jersey. “We must be good stewards of His blessings.”

The public is invited to go with Cornerstone to the Gate of Judah and pray with them Friday, September 30h at 7 p.m. at their new location 501 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. The new location is the former state unemployment building.

During that worship night, along with Cornerstone’s own Praise team under the direction of Anthony Thomas, there will be guest worshipers to fill the atmosphere with praise.

Pastor of The Hub Ministries Apostolic Church in Vineland, Erik Acevedo, and his Praise Team, Acclaimed, singer-songwriter Katrice Cornett and her band, and praise dancer Keyonna Whitfield, are on the program to lend their gifts for the program.

On Sunday, Oct. 2, morning service is set to be a blowout of thanksgiving, starting with First Fruits Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

“The multiplication of new believers in Jesus Christ, the multiplication of true disciples, the multiplication of mature leaders, and the multiplication of churches,” Cornerstone’s mission statement says.

“All are welcome if they are willing to submit themselves to the power of God,” the church said. “Pastor Graves and First Lady Tina, along with the Cornerstone Community Church family, are excited to be in Vineland and have already started meeting with city officials to see how they can be directly involved in serving the community’s needs, physically and spiritually.

“If you are looking for healing of any kind, powerful and impactful spiritual growth, or acceptance Cornerstone Community Church is the church home for you,” the church said.
