Camden Honors Figueroa-Falcon, Ocasio, Villegas With Father Edward J. Walsh Award

CAMDEN — Parents Invincible’s Alesha Figueroa-Falcon, Josephine Ocasio and Carla Villegas received the Father Edward J. Walsh Volunteer Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the City of Camden.
The Father Edward J. Walsh Volunteer Award is a highly prestigious honor, awarded annually to organizations that demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the city of Camden. Parents Invincible was selected for this award based on its innovative programs and initiatives, as well as its outstanding contributions and making a positive impact on the communities it served in Camden.
“We were thrilled to receive this recognition,” said Figueroa-Falcon, the organization’s executive director, in a statement. “It was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, volunteers, and supporters.
“We were honored to be recognized for our efforts to make a difference in the lives of those in need in Camden.”
The City Council of the City of Camden also recognized Parents Invincible through a City Council Resolution for their non-profit organization and the work they do to benefit Camden City students, residents and surrounding area, and extended its best wishes for its continued success.
